FOOTBALL – 2022 WORLD PLAYOFFS : MALI LOSES AT HOME TO TUNISIA AND PUTS ITSELF IN DANGER

Bad news for Mali. While they had to beat Tunisia at home to take a lead before the return match next Tuesday, the Eagles lost at home this Friday in the first leg of the play-off for the 2022 World Cup in Africa.

Only one goal was enough for the happiness of the Eagles of Carthage. It was an own goal by Moussa Sissako in the 36th minute. The defender will be expelled four minutes later, forcing Mali to play short-handed throughout the second half.
