Hansi Flick reacted to this match after the draw which took place in Nyon (Switzerland), this Friday at the UEFA headquarters. “In the quarterfinals, there are only very strong opponents. They are the eight best in Europe. We have to play two strong games. It is a strong opponent, but we have shown that we know how to play soccer,” he expressed in comments relayed by RMC Sport. “It will be decisive to play at our best level. Paris has exceptional players. We accept the challenge. I think we have a chance to pass this round”, reassured the German coach.

Former Bayern star and member of the club’s management, Oliver Kahn also gave his impressions of the clash with PSG. “The draw has given us a very big opponent,” he admitted. “Of course, we are thinking about the final in Lisbon. Paris SG is a team that wants to win the Champions League, so the task will be even more difficult. Everyone knows what offensive power they have, with players like Neymar or Kylian Mbappé who can decide a game at any time. With Mauricio Pochettino, they also have a coach who attaches great importance to defensive stability,” the former goalkeeper acknowledged, before reassuring: “but we have shown that we are the best team in Europe at the moment, we will have to fight.” The first leg between Bayern and PSG will be played on April 7 in Munich and the second leg on April 13 at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
