As expected, Ismaila Sarr will join the Senegalese national team, which is currently preparing for the 2021 CAN. After a long battle with his club Watford, which did not want to release him because of his knee injury, the Senegalese Federation (FSF) confirmed the arrival of the winger, expected this Tuesday.
“The FSF informs the public opinion that it has made arrangements yesterday to send the player Ismaila Sarr his plane ticket to join the grouping of the Lions in Dakar before departure to Bafoussam. The latter was able to board the Air France flight in London at 11:30 am today and will arrive in Dakar in the early evening,” said the FSF on social networks.
Note that this is not a simple visit to see his injury, but that Senegal intends to take the former Rennes to Cameroon in the hope of seeing him recovered for the knockout phase.
