Coach with small onions for his Manchester United team, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been well installed on the Red Devils bench since winter 2019. He has achieved great feats with this club, having a great deal of leeway in the technical management of the team. The Norwegian technician intends to decide the next transfer window of his family by freeing himself from four players.
Manchester United’s superb season
After a chaotic start to the season with in particular a monumental slap received by Tottenham (1-6) on the lawn of Old Trafford, Manchester United has been able to get back on track this season in the Premier League. Currently second, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s men are far from their rivals Manchester City, which they beat two weeks ago. They must now secure their second place in the championship against competition from Leicester and returning Chelsea. The real goal of the season for the Mancuniens nonetheless lies in the conquest of the title of the Uefa Europa League while the teammates of Paul Pogba, currently injured, conceded the draw at the very last minute against AC Milan.
Mercato: Solskjaer wants to sell four players
A season which tends to confirm the return to the European foreground of the most successful club in England. To do this, the Mancunian board would consider recruiting en masse this summer, with priority purchases of a central defender, a right winger and a defensive midfielder. Manchester United executives are also preparing to sign a center-forward, in case Edinson Cavani does not extend his tenure in his jersey. To finance these expensive operations, the leaders of the English club have decided with OGS to sell four players during the summer window of the transfer window. British tabloid Metro believes it knows that Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, and Phil Jones are the four undesirables who should be released this summer. No big name is therefore mentioned in the alleged transfer list despite the untimely rumors circulating around Pogba or De Gea.
