The rumour of Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo at PSG is fuelling the pre-mercato. The club of the capital does not hide its interest in the two world stars of football. When asked to react to the rumour about the two ”Ballon d’Or” players, Jean-Michel Aulas is enthusiastic about the idea of seeing them in Ligue 1.
PSG keep a close eye on Messi and Ronaldo
PSG want to recruit one of the two monsters of football at the moment: Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. The former’s contract at Barcelona expires in June 2021, while the latter’s lease at Juventus expires on 30 June 2022. Leonardo told RMC Sport: “We are always in a position to talk to the big players who would like to come. But we don’t have any negotiations underway regarding a new player. Despite this clarification from PSG‘s sporting director, the rumour about the possible arrival of one of these two decisive players in the French championship is gaining momentum.
Aulas lobbies for the arrival of the two stars in Ligue 1
The AFP interviewed Jean-Michel Aulas on the rumours of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo at Paris SG. He argues that the arrival of ”La Pulga” or ”CR7” in the capital is possible, after Neymar in 2017. “If I imagine Messi or Ronaldo signing one day at PSG? Undoubtedly, if they want to, they have the financial power. Today, Paris has this credibility and Leonardo has the networks that allow this type of hope or this type of dream to be fed,” replied the OL president. “After that, nothing says that it is something they want. But already, the fact that we imagine it possible, it is a great victory”, rejoiced the leader of the Rhone club.
