Franck Haise is fighting with Olympique the Marseille and Stade Rennais for the top 5 at the end of the season, but he is still thinking about the future of RC Lens. A few weeks before the opening of the summer mercato, the coach of the Lens club has just made a first important decision concerning his staff.
RC Lens : Franck Haise does not want Issiaga Sylla
Recruited in 2012 from Horoya AC, a club in Conakry, Guinea, Issiaga Sylla did not convince Toulouse. So much so that TFC multiplies the loans for its left back. After a first inconclusive attempt during the 2015-2016 season at Gazélec Ajaccio (Ligue 1), the 27-year-old player is playing this season at Racing Club the Lens on loan with an option to buy. However, the website reveals that this option was subject to a minimum number of games played.
Indeed, the automation of the purchase at 2.5 million euros is linked to a minimum number of games played with RCL. Issiaga Sylla did not reach this number of games (only 6 games as a starter) under the RC Lens jersey and will therefore pack his bags and return to Toulouse at the end of the season. Moreover, Franck Haise does not really seem to count on the Guinean international who played 20 games in Ligue 1 this season.
The specialized site also announces that even if they win the Ligue 1, Toulouse does not intend to keep Issiaga Sylla, who will have to find a new place during the off-season to continue his career.
Which destination for Issiaga Sylla this summer?
Author of a rather satisfactory first part of the season Issiaga Sylla should not have too much trouble to find a new place to stay. Several French clubs, but also Turkish and Dutch formations are interested in his profile. According to the specialized website Transfermarkt, the native of Conakry can be transferred for a check of 3 million euros.
As a reminder, Sylla is bound to Toulouse FC until 2023.
