RC Lens close to concluding the transfer of Kevin Danso ?
To replace Loïc Badé in the heart of the RC Lens defense, the club has put its radar on Kevin Danso. The latter is playing in the second division in Germany and is under contract until the end of June 2024. Racing Club de Lens had indeed sent a first offer to FC Augsburg, but it was refused by the Bundesliga club. Stefan Reuter, sports manager of the German club, told Kicker magazine that the offer of the Ligue 1 club is “not at all in line with the market”. According to the FC Augsburg manager, “RC Lens should know how to evaluate the value of a central defender on the market today”.
Despite this refusal, the management of the Sang et Or has not given up on the 22-year-old. Contrary to Kicker, which mentions some details to be settled between RC Lens and the Germans, the MSV Foot account announces that Kevin Danso will wear the colors of Lens next season. As a reminder, RCL transferred Loïc Badé to SRFC for 17 M€. As for Kevin Danso, his market value is estimated at 5 M€ by Transfermarkt.
