Yasser Larouci is officially a player of ES Troyes AC. The signing of his contract with the promoted club was confirmed this Wednesday by the Ligue 1 club.

Yasser Larouci is a new player of ES Troyes AC. He signed a long-term contract of 5 years. The defender trained at Le Havre AC has been linked to the club until June 2026. He arrived from Liverpool where he was at the end of his contract. “The left-back Yasser Larouci joined ESTAC for a period of 5 years, from Liverpool. The whole club wishes him much success with the Blue and White shirt. Welcome Yasser,” said the promoted club.
The 20-year-old defender is the fifth summer recruit of ES Troyes AC. He arrives after Issa Kaboré (right back on loan from Manchester City), Renaud Ripart (versatile striker), Mykola Kukharevych (20-year-old center forward) and Jessy Moulin (goalkeeper from ASSE).
Who is Yasser Larouci?
Yasser Larouci was born on January 1, 2001 in El Oued (Algeria). He made his debut in Rouen, before joining the academy of Le Havre AC, where he was the captain of the under-17s. But thanks to his talent, he caught the eye of big clubs, including Liverpool who recruited him in the summer of 2017. Trained as a winger, Yasser Larouci “was repositioned to left back by Liverpool U18 coach Barry Lewtas.
With the Reds’ youth team, the ES Troyes AC recruit won the FA Youth Cup with the Reds against Manchester City (in April 2019). Yasser Larouci played 2 games in the Premier League with Liverpool, the first of which was against Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton on January 5, 2020. He has accumulated 61 games with the youth teams (U18, U19 and U23).
