LOSC Mercato : Inter Milan do not let go of a Lille defender
Inter Milan reportedly still has its sights set on LOSC defender Tiago Djalo to replace Milan Skriniar, who is said to be leaving for PSG this summer.
In search of a central defender to succeed Milan Skriniar, Inter Milan has Tiago Djalo from LOSC on its radar. He is among the players targeted to replace the Slovak international, who is strongly linked with PSG at the end of the season and his contract. The Nerazzurri‘s interest in the Lille defender dates back to the winter transfer window.
A month after the January transfer window closed, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Lombard club has not given up on the trail leading to the LOSC No. 3. Inter Milan is preparing to go on the offensive during the next summer transfer window. In anticipation, the Interisti have reportedly added the names of Merih Demiral (Atalanta Bergamo) and Benjamin Pavard (Bayern Munich) to their list, according to the Italian media.
LOSC Mercato : Tiago Djalo transferred to Inter Milan for 12 M€ ?
Unlike Milan Skriniar (28), who is expected to join PSG without a transfer fee, Tiago Djalo (22) would not be returning to Milan freely. Under contract with LOSC until June 2024, he is expected to be transferred. According to the estimate of the specialized site Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 12 million euros. As a reminder, the Portuguese was purchased by the Dogues from AC Milan in August 2019 for a fee of 4 million euros.
This season, Tiago Djalo is one of the most used players by coach Paulo Fonseca. He has played 24 matches in Ligue 1 and started in 23 of them. He has even scored 2 goals and provided an assist in the league. The defender targeted by Inter Milan is therefore a star in Lille.
