Announced to be in the sights of ASSE, but also of OM and Montpellier HSC, Andreaw Gravillon delivered a big clue about his immediate future, after his season spent at FC Lorient on loan from Inter Milan.

Interest of ASSE, Andreaw Gravillon returned on his season at FC Lorient in Ligue 1. He confirmed the desire of the coach of the Morbihan club to transfer him permanently from Inter Milan. But he declined the offer of the Merlus who had an option to buy in the contract signed with the Lombard club. “Christophe Pelissier wanted to keep me. But I am honest and mature. We discussed and I explained to the leaders why I did not want to continue at FC Lorient,” said the central defender in Ouest-France. “It’s a career choice. After my first season in Ligue 1, I can even say abroad, because I did all my training in Italy, I want to go higher. Next year in Lorient, I might have lived a new season to play the maintenance”, he justified afterwards.
Andreaw Gravillon aims for “a team that plays at the top of the ranking
In addition to AS Saint-Etienne, the 23-year-old back is interested in Olympique Marseille and Montpellier HSC as he confirmed himself. However, he has a preference. He aims at a club that plays at the top of the table in Ligue 1 or abroad. “My goal now is to get as high as possible, to join a team that plays at the top of the table,” said Andreaw Gravillon. The ASSE and the MHSC are thus warned. As a reminder, Andreaw Gravillon is under contract with the Nerazzurri until 2023. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 5 M€. Last season, he played 26 games in Ligue 1 and was a starter as many times for Lorient. The French defender scored one goal and provided 2 assists.
