FOOTBALL – PSG Mercato : Revelation at 50 M€ in the Achraf Hakimi file
Paris Saint-Germain wants to make Achraf Hakimi their right-back this summer. But as revealed by the Turin press, PSG will have to break their piggy bank to sign the defender under contract with Inter Milan.
The real amount of the PSG offer for Hakimi revealed
Paris Saint-Germain does not intend to retain Alessandro Florenzi at the end of his trial. The Italian fullback arrived last summer on loan with an option to buy. But given his recent performances, the 30-year-old defender will be sold to AS Roma. Leonardo, the Parisian sporting director, wants to replace the Giallorosso with the Nerazzurro Achraf Hakimi. In this sense, an offer of up to 60 million euros has been mentioned for the transfer of the 22-year-old fullback. But as revealed by Tuttosport, the amount offered by PSG was lower than announced. The newspaper reports that Paris actually made an offer of 50 million for the Moroccan international (36 caps / 2 goals).
A track to forget for Leonardo and PSG?
This proposal has been deemed insufficient by Inter Milan. The Italian champions would demand at least 80 million euros for Achraf Hakimi, who was recruited last summer. The right back was transferred from Real Madrid for 45 million euros. He lived up to the expectations placed on him with 7 goals and 10 assists, contributing to the Nerazzurri‘s success. Although interested in the former Madrid player, it is not certain that Paris Saint-Germain will meet the demands of the Lombardy club. Otherwise, PSG should repatriate a former member of the house. A return of Serge Aurier has been in the news for several weeks. The Tottenham fullback remains open to a return to Paris where he would find Mauricio Pochettino. He played under the Argentine coach when the latter was still on the bench of Spurs.
