PSG: Neymar back against Bayern, hope remains
Injured a few weeks ago with PSG, Neymar could make his return against Bayern next week in the Champions League.
The upcoming week will be decisive for PSG. Indeed, the Parisians face Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 and will have to overturn the German club to hope to qualify for the quarter-finals. However, the task will not be easy for Christophe Galtier‘s men, who lost in the first leg at Parc des Princes and will have to perform flawlessly to hope to turn the situation around and still dream of a European title this season.
While PSG should be able to count on Kylian Mbappé from the start of this match, Neymar‘s participation is still very uncertain, following his injury suffered against Lille on February 19th. While Presnel Kimpembe is injured for a very long time, the Brazilian could, in turn, return for the match against Bayern Munich, even though the timelines seem very short for the PSG forward, who has scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists this season.
PSG: Neymar is doing everything he can to return in time
As reported by Team in today’s edition, PSG still has hope for Neymar. The Brazilian is still undergoing intensive treatment for his ankle sprain to be available for the Champions League match next Wednesday. Even though his presence is strongly in doubt for PSG, Neymar is doing everything he can to be part of the Parisian group that will travel to Bavaria next week.
At the moment, it’s impossible to say whether Paris SG can count on Neymar for this crucial match of the Parisian season. Whatever the answer, it shouldn’t be a big deal for the PSG striker, whose presence at the Allianz Arena is not yet ruled out by PSG.
