FOOTBALL – PSG Mercato: Paulo Dybala, towards a master stroke of Leonardo?
PSG Mercato: Free on June 30, Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus Turin. The Argentine striker could land in Paris SG this summer.
PSG Mercato: Paulo Dybala has not yet decided on his future
Paulo Dybala is about to end a seven-year marriage with Juventus Turin. Free on June 30, the Argentine striker will not extend his commitment with the Old Lady. Once announced to Paris Saint-Germain, the compatriot of Lionel Messi would finally move to Inter Milan. On Wednesday, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the Juve number 10 has agreed with the Inter Milan club on a four-year contract, until June 2026, with a salary of 6 million euros per year + various bonuses.
Only, according to his agent, the Laguna Larga native has not yet made a decision about his next destination. “He is exclusively focused on the end of the season, the championship and the Italian Cup final. No agreement has been reached with any team in Italy or abroad at the moment,” said Jorge Antun for Sport Mediaset. Leonardo and Paris SG would therefore still have an opportunity with the former Palermo striker.
PSG Mercato: Leonardo ready to overtake Inter for Dybala?
“Dybala is no longer the center of the Juve project. His qualities have never been discussed, but other choices have been made. The January transfer market has changed the technical structure of the team. The project has undergone some changes and part of these changes also involves Dybala, who has not been extended today,” said Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene in March.
Arrived in July 2015, from Palermo, Paulo Dybala is therefore preparing to leave Juventus Turin for free. Looking for offensive reinforcements to compensate for the upcoming departures of Mauro Icardi and Angel Di Maria, Leonardo has reportedly already met with the agent of the Juve jewel to discuss an arrival at Paris SG this summer. La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms PSG‘s interest in Dybala and the talks with Leonardo, but also states that Inter Milan, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are also in the running for Cristiano Ronaldo’s former partner.
It now remains to be seen how this case will end.
