PSG Mercato : A shocking announcement falls for Jude Bellingham
Targeted by almost all the top European clubs, including PSG, Jude Bellingham could leave Borussia Dortmund next summer. But BVB is not planning to be easily stripped of him.
Despite England’s elimination in the quarter-finals by France, Jude Bellingham had an excellent 2022 World Cup and is now considered the best midfielder on the planet. Therefore, it is only natural that Europe’s wealthiest teams want to lure him away from Borussia Dortmund. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has even publicly displayed his interest in the 19-year-old prodigy.
At Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez would do anything to sign him during the upcoming summer transfer window to install him in the White House as the heir to Luka Modric (37), who is nearing retirement. But England wants to repatriate its former prodigy. Struggling this season, Liverpool has made Bellingham an absolute priority for this summer, just like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Manchester United. While his talent is attracting interest abroad, Borussia Dortmund is not planning to give him up easily.
PSG Mercato: Borussia Dortmund wants to extend Jude Bellingham’s contract.
Arriving in July 2020 from Birmingham for a fee of €25 million, Jude Bellingham is still far from leaving Borussia Dortmund. In fact, after recently stating that the Stourbridge native is still under contract until June 2025 and that they intend to keep him next season, the club’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, has officially expressed his desire to soon extend his No. 22’s contract.
“Yes, I will try to extend his contract. We have not yet spoken with Jude and his family. He is relaxed and focused on football,” said the BVB leader on ZDF. Now it remains to be seen if the player himself wants to continue his adventure in the Bundesliga. Meanwhile, PSG, Real Madrid, and Liverpool are making moves behind the scenes.
