PSG Mercato: Mohamed Salah’s clan responds to Paris SG’s interest
The PSG has been targeting Mohamed Salah for several seasons, and it seems like the player wants to leave Liverpool this summer. His agent discussed his future on social media.
On Saturday, Foot Mercato reported that Mohamed Salah would like to leave Liverpool this summer. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, a big fan of the Egyptian striker, would like to bring him to Paris Saint-Germain. The Qataris, who want to secure a big Arab star to assert their influence in the Middle East, would reportedly roll out the red carpet for the Reds’ striker. This seems to work out since journalist Santi Aouna reports that the former Chelsea winger would like to go elsewhere after spending six seasons at Anfield.
PSG wants to leverage this opportunity to convince Mohamed Salah to join Ligue 1, even though Klopp’s protected would give priority to a transfer to Spain. As this big rumor has been spreading on social media in recent hours, the player’s agent broke his silence to clarify the situation.
PSG Mercato: Mohamed Salah’s agent denies his desire to leave.
Despite a contract extension signed last July that binds him to Liverpool until June 30, 2025, Mohamed Salah is reportedly seriously considering a change of scenery this summer to explore a new project before retirement. If Paris Saint-Germain and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi are willing to offer him a golden salary to play alongside Kylian Mbappé, the double African Ballon d’Or (2017 and 2018) is still far from leaving the Merseyside club.
In any case, his agent claims that he has not discussed the matter with the player yet. “Where did you get this information from if Mohamed and I haven’t discussed it? Please tell us,” wrote Ramy Abbas Issa, reposting Santi Aouna‘s tweet announcing Salah’s desire to leave. PSG is therefore informed.
