FOOTBALL – Mercato OM : A nice deal for Longoria in Bundesliga
The OM is set to complete an operation in Germany next summer. Back on loan this season, Amine Harit gives satisfaction.
Mercato OM: Amine Harit is already making waves in Marseille
Olympique Marseille has completed its summer mercato with a familiar face in Provence. Loaned without option last season, Amine Harit signed his return to OM this summer. The attacking midfielder was the last of the twelve recruits signed by Pablo Longoria during the last mercato. The Moroccan had been valuable at the end of last season under Jorge Sampaoli. This time, he is on loan with an option to buy and has made an enchanting start to the season with the Phocaean club. The 25-year-old midfielder has one goal and three assists in 10 games this season. Enough to put Igor Tudor, the new Marseille coach, in his pocket. The Croatian technician no longer hesitates to play him at the expense of Dimitri Payet for example. In addition to the Olympic coach, Pablo Longoria is admiring the qualities of the Atlas Lion with 14 caps.
Harit towards a transfer to Marseille
In the columns of La Provence, the president of Olympique Marseille had recently justified the signing of Amine Harit. The Olympique director is seduced by the individual qualities of the former Nantes player, especially his dribbling skills.
“On the offensive level, we were missing someone who could give us a sense of balance. That’s what we were looking for last year. But this season, since we have a lot of one-on-one situations, we really needed a player like Amine who eliminates his opponents. He is a very important player in the dressing room because of his personality, because he is very positive.”
Back in Marseille this summer, the Moroccan does not see himself folding his bags. On the sidelines of the return match against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League, he expressed a strong wish for his future. He expressed his desire to continue his career in Provence, in order to “put Marseille back in its place in Europe“. It now remains for the Phocaean club to pay the 5 million euros representing his purchase option.
