Stade Rennais has just lost another member of its squad in the person of Steven N’Zonzi. SRFC hopes to recruit a young Swedish midfielder this summer to compensate for this departure.

New blow for the Stade Rennais. On Saturday, SRFC made official the departure of Steven N’Zonzi in a statement. The 32-year-old midfielder was on loan to Rennes since January 2020 by AS Roma. At the end of his contract, the French world champion returns to the Italian club with which he has one year left on his contract. This departure comes after that of the captain Damien Da Silva. Free, the central defender joined Olympique Lyonnais. While a sale of Eduardo Camavinga is also expected this summer, the Breton club intends to recruit reinforcements in midfield.
